Product Description
Piper kilt hose are not JUST for bagpipers!
They were developed for and designed by pipers to be hard wearing and look good. Piper's hose are available in 7 colors, so it's easy to find the perfect match for your kilt. The diamond pattern at the top of the hose is similar to the "popcorn top" style, but it's more durable as they're knit as a single sock. As the top is integrated into the sock as a long turn over section, the overall length of the leg can be adjusted by turning the top over 2 to 3 times to meet individual length requirements. The top of the sock has a significant amount of stretch, fitting people with up to 19" (or so) calves.
Composition of the Piper Hose:
- 40% Wool
- 40% Acrylic
- 20% Nylon
- White Hose are 100% Acrylic
- Hard Wearing Blend
- Available in Small, Medium and Large sizes

Price Value Quality Don't waste your money on bargain crap deals on ebay. These are quality hose that are priced fair. I ordered 2 pair in different colors and am very pleased. I have purchased hose that are lower priced but have regretted that due to how they get fuzz balls and don't fit well after several washings. No regrets with these. Price Value Quality These are quality hose. I’m a piper and have worn pairs in both black and charcoal grey for years. The Lovat green doesn’t disappoint either. Went perfect with my Argyll jacket. (Posted on 5/1/2019) - Very nice Rusty

Quality Price Value I am a bagpiper and the only time I wear my kilt is during gigs. Have a pair of economy hose that have lasted me 1 year. Ordered these hoping they were a little thicker hoping for better durability. They don’t appear much thick if at all. Time will tell if they hold up, but based on feel alone, I’m not too hopeful. As far as look and quality this they are pretty sharp, but the economy hose was too. For me I will stick with economy hose unless these last more than a year and a half (Posted on 3/9/2019)

Buyers Guide
Kilt hose are typically worn pulled up, with the top stopping about 2 to 3" below the bottom of the kneecap. Also, note that they are "turned over" at the top. Elastic garters, called "flashes", are typically worn under the turned over top section to help keep the hose from falling down.
