Price Value QualityI grew up in Appalachia in a family of deer hunters. The clothing I've bought over the last few years has been an homage to the hard working mountain folk and the heritage that I inherited. When I decided to wear a kilt, I was attracted to the stag antler accessories. Knowing Scotland's heritage with hunting and my family's here in the states, it seemed only fitting that this kilt pin would, in part, recognize that tradition that's fed my family for many generations on this continent and across the ocean. That may sound silly, but I do find something deeply connective with such a simple, beautiful, well-made item. It also does a decent job at keeping my front apron down in the wind, when it's a wee bit breezy out! (Posted on 9/19/2018)

Price Value QualityAgain, another great product from USA kilts. I wanted something a little darker than was pictured so they looked through what they had and sent me exactly what I was looking for. Perfect pin for the outdoor Highland look. Love it! (Posted on 11/18/2017)

Buyers GuideThe Kilt pin is worn on the lower right corner of the kilt’s apron (above the wearer’s right knee). Typically, the pin is positioned about 5” up from the bottom of the kilt (the bottom of the pin is 5” up) and about 2” in from the right edge of the front apron. Please note that it does NOT pin multiple layers of cloth together… it only goes through the front apron.
- 100% Real Stag Horn (Discarded antlers... no animals were harmed to collect)

Fun FactsIf you don’t want to lose your kilt pin, try this… carefully poke the pin through the front apron of your kilt. With the pin sticking out the underside, stab the pin through a rubber band (usually a wide rubber band is easier). You can trim the rubber band so that you only use a little square. Then, poke the pin through the front apron again and close the clasp. If the clasp comes undone, the kilt pin will be held by the rubber band and won’t fall off.
We try to keep this kilt pin in stock at all times. In the rare instance that it is out of stock when you place your order, we will let you know within 24 hours.
