Classic and Bold! Our latest semi-dress sporran is inspired by not one, but TWO time periods of Gaelic history. The flap, with its trapezoidal shape and large metal plate, is based on late-19th and early-20th century sporrans such as the "Prince Charlie" design in our Dress Sporrans line. The decorative pewter plate features zoomorphic art based on the ancient Book of Kells. Knotwork borders a motif of two stags with intertwined antlers - the ancient Celtic symbol of strength, freedom and verility. The knotwork also appears on our custom-design pewter bells. The front panel is covered in grey rabbit fur. Hand made made in Scotland.
