As we designed a tartan to celebrate America’s Semi Quincentennial, we reflected on a nation shaped by those who believe tomorrow can be better than today.

The America 250 Tartan tells the story of the United States in a way that acknowledges our past and looks forward to the promise of the next chapter...

• Two shades of Red reflect the courage and determination woven through our narrative. In breakthroughs, sacrifices, and the collective will to push forward.
• Three shades of Blue mark our curiosity and growth. The spirit of exploration, discovery and innovation are engrained in our DNA.
• Parchment White. Not bright or polished. It speaks to the long way we’ve come, the trials we’ve endured, and the resilience that carries us through.
  This weathered color palette is a reminder that America’s story isn’t a simple one.  Our legacy has been formed by 250 years of hard work, sacrifice and lessons learned.  

As we look to the next 250 years, we strive for what this country can become when we work together to uphold the founding founders’ ideals of freedom... liberty... and justice for all.
