This design takes inspiration from national symbols of the United Sates of America dating back to the 19th century (and naturally to the arrival of Lady Liberty herself in New York Harbor on June 17, 1885). Like our American Eagle kilt belt buckle, the American shield and torch design also harkens back to the 1940's with a graceful Art Deco feel that will have you ready to buy war bonds.
Our UK-based craftsmen took our design, carved it, and cast it in high-quality pewter. Rugged and bend-proof, It measures 4" tall by 7/8" wide. Plus, we have included pressure-fit tension clips. This pin is NOT coming off your kilt!
