    Two Thumbs Up  allanb
First, it came within two days! Second, it was exactly what I had hoped for -- nicely detailed with a nice heft to it.
I would like to make one suggestion: Under product specs I would include the dimensions and the weight. Those numbers would give a customer a better idea of what he would be getting. (Posted on 4/7/2016)

Quality pin with plenty of heft.  zirrow
The pin was sturdier than I had anticipated. Does everything a kilt pin is supposed to do - it looks good ;) (Posted on 10/14/2014)

    Fantastic   mark
As a Scotsman living in Luxembourg and visiting Alabama for a wedding, I realised that the dry cleaners lost my kilt pin the day before my flight. USA kilts was my first port of call.. I ordered online from Luxembourg and had it sent to Alabama. Ordering was extremely easy and my friend received the pin even before I arrived! It's a beautiful pin and just as authentic as ones found in kilt shops on the streets of Glasgow! Extremely satisfied customer. (Posted on 10/14/2014)

  • Buyers Guide

The Kilt pin is worn on the lower right corner of the kilt’s apron (above the wearer’s right knee). Typically, the pin is positioned about 5” up from the bottom of the kilt (the bottom of the pin is 5” up) and about 2” in from the right edge of the front apron. Please note that it does NOT pin multiple layers of cloth together… it only goes through the front apron.
  • Product Specs

    - 100%  Pewter
    - Made in Scotland
    - Measures 3.4" long by 1.4" wide

  • Fun Facts

A "lion rampant" is depicted in profile standing erect with forepaws raised. The position of the hind legs varies according to local custom: the lion may stand on both hind legs, braced wide apart, or on only one, with the other also raised to strike.  The Lion Rampant is depicted on Scotland's royal flag, The Royal Standard of Scotland and is considered one of Scotland's national symbols.

If you don’t want to lose your kilt pin, try this… carefully poke the pin through the front apron of your kilt. With the pin sticking out the underside, stab the pin through a rubber band (usually a wide rubber band is easier). You can trim the rubber band so that you only use a little square. Then, poke the pin through the front apron again and close the clasp. If the clasp comes undone, the kilt pin will be held by the rubber band and won’t fall off.
